Croydon Referral Exchange – an historic group, which started out in 2001 as Business Referral Exchange in the days, when it was BNI or the Chamber for networking. An independent organisation, which is focused on building trust, knowledge and supporting each other. One business per classification and guests are welcome to attend. Please click here and request a visit. Please mention Laurence Lowne, when completing the form?

Twitter – Combyne Group has an active, a very active twitter account. Football, politics, green issues, climate change, food, wine, fun items, more football and politics. Always retweeting and supporting colleagues and friends – very wide reach.

Seeking extra income? We have an excellent solution partnering with an award winning UK success story. In fact we are just coming up to our 20th anniversary with the business, so perhaps a little biased? Please take a look and decide for yourself. There are three boxes to complete on the page and a video from our brand ambassador, Joanna Lumley to watch. We can then schedule a chat and answer any questions arising. 50 training venues around the country, so lots of support available and all free to attend as many times as you like.

Please tell us what you are seeking to achieve and we will help you get there?

How much time to invest? 5 to 10 hours a week initially, and then when your part time income exceeds your full time, we suggest increasing your hours. That can happen as quickly as you want.

NABO Networking – joined in April 2011, and became a Group Director. NABO directly supports business owners and assists them with improving their business. It worked worked well and managed two groups in Croydon and Covent Garden, until the owner decided to withdraw from the market in 2013.

As a result, Croydon Referral Exchange was created to replace the group, which was a continuation of Business Referral Exchange below. Now well established with over 30 members. Please see link above?

Business Referral Exchange – 11 years membership. Great source of referrals, also friendship and business support/advice.

AFC Wimbledon – the fans owned club and I am part of the team that help runs the show. On match days I run the media at home games, looking after all activity within the stadium relating to the press from 11.30am until 7pm on Saturdays. Always busy and can be very exciting with the big games such as Liverpool in the FA Cup in 2015, when the eyes of the world were on us. To the brilliant play off run and win in 2015/16 season, when we concluded at Wembley in front of over 53,000 fans over coming Plymouth Argyle 2-0.  Midweek games see the team conclude at 11pm, whilst away matches present different challenges. Here I run supporter travel in addition to media duties.

www.business-scene.com – Online networking and face to face too at various locations around the UK. Warren Cass has closed this down now and focused more on personal activity with public speaking to the fore.

Your Business Community – membership based organisation similar to FSB. It is run by Ted and Paul, two good friends and I support, when I can. Paid for membership with lots of benefits and various events up and down the country including breakfasts and evening events each month. Very positive environment.

www.viva-networking.co.uk  – An up and coming networking organisation delivering a lunch time solution

South London Business – Facilitating networking across the South London Boroughs, also have a great commercial section identifying available locations for your business to be based – free service. This has ceased now following Government withdrawal of funds in 2010. Created lots of great friendships whilst involved and stay in touch.
